I'M NEW

Welcome to Soul Church!  Thanks for taking a few moments to check out our site. As
we  always say, the best way to find out who Soul Church is, what it's like and whether or
not it's for you, is by coming to hang out with us one Sunday.

SUNDAYS AT 10AM
715 Amelia Church Rd. Clayton NC, 27520

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

Think of our Sunday Gathering as a party with good music and a bunch of friends.

Each Gathering will last about 70 minutes and you'll hear live music from our band and a
biblical teaching from one of our pastors. The entire experience is designed to help you connect with God's presence and other people in a way that's both life-giving and relatable.

Our promise to you is that you'll never be singled out, made to feel awkward or asked to handle the snakes.  Okay, that last part was a joke.  There's no snakes!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Clothes. A hat. If it's cold, maybe a jacket. Seriously, it's up to you so wear whatever makes you feel comfortable. Most people dress casually, so wear whatever you like and you’ll fit right in.

WHAT DENOMINATION ARE YOU?
We share similar beliefs to many denominations however we are a non-denominational (but not the non-denominational that seems like it's become it's own denomination) Christian church. We strategically made the decision to be and remain non-denominational as a way to focus more on what unites us and brings
us together rather than what tears us apart. Our pastors, leaders and partners come from many different christian faith backgrounds.

WHAT VERSION OF THE BIBLE DO YOU TEACH FROM?
Typically the CSB, NIV or ESV however we think the best translation to use is the one that you can
understand. Believe it or not, Jesus didn't carry a King James or any translation for that matter.

WHAT ABOUT KIDS?
What about them? Kidding! Our kid's ministry is available for all children between 6 weeks of age and 4th grade. It's a place where your kids can be surrounded by adults who are committed to a safe, fun, clean environment. It’s where kids can figure out what God and the Bible are all about. If you happen to have a 5th or 6th grader, they'll love attending our gathering in the main auditorium and then during the teaching time going to a crew (our small groups) specifically for them!

ARE ALL THE PEOPLE I SEE WORKING ON SUNDAYS ON STAFF?
Not even close. Believe it or not, 99.9% of Soul Church is the result of our amazing “Team.” Volunteers care for our kids, arrive early to set things up, and sing on stage. It’s a huge undertaking and we have an amazing team.

THE MUSIC IS TOO LOUD!
Welp, that's not really a question however you’re correct! Worship is supposed to be loud, according to examples in the Bible (Psalm 50, Revelation 5:10-11). Also we believe we have something worth shouting about! We love the energy and passion that comes from a room full of people singing to Jesus. That said, our production team uses a decibel reader to ensure that the volume level doesn’t become dangerous.

IS SOUL THE RIGHT CHURCH FOR ME?
We hope so, but we also recognize that we are only one small part of the much larger Body of Christ throughout our community. If you find that Soul doesn’t feel like home, we would love to help you get connected to another great church in the area.

HOW DO I GET CONNECTED?
We invite you to fill out the Connect Card, which is our way of knowing who you are, what kind of needs you might have, and how we can serve you better. Be sure to stop by our Connect Tent this Sunday!
